Freeport, Texas
Freeport sits right on the Gulf of Mexico where salt air, wind, and humidity are part of daily life — and they are brutal on gym equipment. We make the drive from Cypress on Hwy 288 south to Hwy 36 to keep your machines working despite the coastal conditions.

Freeport is about 70 to 75 minutes from our Cypress shop via Hwy 288 south to Hwy 36. We schedule Freeport and surrounding coastal community appointments on dedicated south corridor days to serve the area efficiently.
Freeport's industrial and residential mix means both commercial facilities and home gyms need regular attention. Salt air off the Gulf affects every metal component and electronic board in fitness equipment stored here — we factor that into every service call.
Surfside Beach is a beachfront community where vacation and permanent homeowners have dedicated fitness setups. Equipment at Surfside is in perhaps the most salt-air-exposed environment in our service area, and we have seen and fixed every type of coastal damage.
Quintana is a small barrier island community at the mouth of the Brazos River. Residents here have unique service access needs and we plan our visits to Quintana specifically to accommodate the drive and the tide-sensitive access.
Old Ocean is a rural community between Freeport and West Columbia with ranch properties and established homes. We service Old Ocean area equipment on our south Brazoria County days alongside Freeport and West Columbia visits.
Jones Creek is a residential community just north of Freeport with a growing population of working families. Home gym equipment in Jones Creek benefits from annual service to stay ahead of the accelerated coastal wear that this area's environment produces.
Every Type of Machine
Squeaking, stride lock-ups, resistance failures, and console glitches. Gulf Coast salt air is particularly hard on elliptical crossbars and drive shafts — we treat and protect every metal surface on Freeport area service calls.
Step chain replacement, alternator rebuilds, and console board repairs. The Freeport area's industrial workforce uses StairMasters hard and the coastal environment demands more frequent maintenance than inland areas.
Pedal bearing replacement, resistance knob repair, seat post fixes, and screen troubleshooting for Peloton, Schwinn, Keiser, and every other brand on the market.
Transparent Pricing
Freeport customers pay the same flat $175 as our Cypress neighbors. We do not charge extra for coastal conditions, long drives, or complex repairs. One price, one visit, everything covered:
Multiple machines? Each additional unit on the same visit is just $100. Parts are always quoted and approved before ordering.

Questions & Answers
Freeport is within our 75-mile service radius from Cypress and the $175 flat rate applies. There is no coastal surcharge, no distance fee, and no extra charge for the additional drive via Hwy 288 south and Hwy 36. You pay the same price as any other customer.
Salt air is the primary enemy. It causes oxidation on steel frames, bearing races, and flywheel surfaces; corrodes circuit boards and connectors; and degrades rubber belts and deck surfaces faster than any inland environment. We have seen treadmills at Surfside Beach need belt replacement twice as often as identical machines in Cypress. Annual preventive maintenance is especially important for equipment stored within a mile of the Gulf.
Yes. Vacation rental properties with fitness equipment are a category we handle regularly. We can coordinate with property managers as well as owners and work around guest checkout schedules. Just note that it is a vacation rental when booking and provide the property manager's contact information so we can coordinate access.
Surface rust on the frame is cosmetic and does not affect function. Belt slippage in coastal environments is almost always a deck and belt lubrication issue combined with belt stretch from humidity swelling — both are repairable. We will give you an honest assessment on the first visit of whether the repair is cost-effective compared to replacement. The $175 covers that diagnosis regardless of the answer.
From Freeport's residential and industrial neighborhoods to Surfside Beach vacation homes, Quintana waterfront properties, and Jones Creek families — we are the gym equipment repair company that makes the trip to the Texas Gulf Coast and gets the job done right at a flat rate with no surprises.
