Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Fitness Repair Xperts ("we," "us," or "our") website, booking a service, or engaging with our AI chatbot, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services. We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Services

Fitness Repair Xperts provides professional fitness equipment repair, preventative maintenance, and installation/moving services for residential and commercial clients in the Greater Houston Area. Our services include but are not limited to the diagnosis and repair of treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, stairclimbers, and strength training equipment. All services are performed by experienced technicians and are subject to availability.

Pricing & Payment

Our standard service rates are as follows:

• Online Booking Deposit: A $50 deposit is charged to your card at the time of online booking to secure your appointment window. It is processed by Square and is fully credited toward your final balance. Phone bookings do not require a deposit; the full service call fee is due at the visit.
• Online Booking Special: Diagnosis & Repair booked through our website is $150 (a $25 saving off the $175 phone rate), applied automatically at checkout.
• Diagnosis & Repair: $175 flat rate by phone ($150 online) — includes the trip and diagnosis/repair of one machine. Additional machines on the same visit: $100 per machine.
• Off-Route Trip Fee: Our scheduler shows the days our technician is already working in your area, at no extra charge. If you choose a day on which our technician is committed to a different part of town, a $25 trip fee is added and shown to you before you confirm. If no fee-free day is available to you, the fee is waived.
• Return Trip (parts installation): $100 — if parts must be ordered and installed on a separate visit.
• Preventative Maintenance: $175 flat rate per visit.
• Installation & Moving: $250 flat for single machine assembly or disassembly. Complex jobs or multiple machines priced based on situation.

Replacement parts, if needed, are additional and will be quoted separately before any work is performed. Remaining payments are due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. Labor charges are not subject to sales tax; any applicable tax on parts is itemized on your invoice.

Card on File (optional): When booking online you may choose to keep your card on file with Square so the remaining balance can be settled when the job is complete. Your card details are stored by Square, never on our systems, and are charged only for the balance of the service you booked or for future visits you approve. You may ask us to remove a stored card at any time.

Scheduling, Cancellation & Rescheduling

Appointments can be scheduled through our online scheduler at fitnessrepairxperts.com/book or by phone with our booking assistants. When you select a time window online it is held for ten minutes while you complete your deposit; if payment is not completed in that time the window is released. Appointments are offered in two-hour arrival windows. To protect our technician routes and avoid scheduling losses, the following terms apply to all bookings:

• Customer Cancellations & Modifications: Any request to reschedule or cancel must be made at least twenty-four (24) hours before your scheduled service window. With that notice, your $50 deposit transfers to the rescheduled appointment. If you cancel, modify, or are unavailable on the day of your appointment, the deposit is forfeited and will not be refunded or applied to a future booking.
• Company Cancellations: In the rare event that Fitness Repair Xperts must cancel on the day of service, a full refund of your $50 deposit is promptly issued to your original form of payment.
• Failed Bookings: If your deposit is charged but the appointment cannot be created (for example, the window was taken moments earlier), the deposit is refunded automatically and you are asked to choose another time.
• Photos: You may upload photos of your equipment when booking. Photos are stored on our secure website systems and shared with our technician through private links so we can arrive prepared. Please do not upload photos that contain sensitive personal information.

Warranty

Fitness Repair Xperts stands behind the quality of our work:

• Labor Warranty: We provide a warranty on our repair labor. If the same issue recurs within the warranty period, we will return to address it at no additional labor charge.
• Parts Warranty: Replacement parts may carry a manufacturer's warranty where applicable. The terms and duration of parts warranties vary by manufacturer and will be communicated at the time of service.
• Exclusions: Warranties do not cover damage resulting from misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, power surges, water damage, or normal wear and tear.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fitness Repair Xperts shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to the use of our services or website. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions of equipment, damage caused by factors beyond our control, or delays caused by parts availability or shipping.

AI Chatbot

Our website features an AI-powered chatbot to assist with general inquiries and service information. Please note that the chatbot is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a professional diagnosis of equipment issues. Recommendations provided by the AI chatbot should not be relied upon as a substitute for an in-person inspection by a qualified technician. Fitness Repair Xperts is not liable for any actions taken based solely on information provided by the chatbot. For accurate diagnosis and repair, please schedule a service appointment.

AI Phone Assistants

Our phone system uses AI-powered assistants — Hope at the front desk and Daniel for booking — to handle incoming calls. By calling Fitness Repair Xperts, you agree to the following terms:

• AI Disclosure: Hope and Daniel are artificial intelligence assistants, not humans. Hope provides service information and collects your details; Daniel confirms pricing and books your appointment.
• Recording Consent: All calls handled by our assistants are recorded and may be reviewed for quality assurance and service improvement. Recordings may be shared with our technology providers as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Scheduling: Appointments booked by phone are created in our scheduling system and confirmed by text message. Daniel offers the days that best fit your area first; if you choose a day on which our technician is committed elsewhere, he will tell you about the $25 off-route trip fee before you confirm. Phone bookings require no deposit, and an email address is optional.
• Accuracy: While our assistants strive to accurately capture your information, we recommend verifying your appointment details. Our technician will confirm your appointment before arriving.
• Human Transfer: You may request to speak with a human representative at any time during the call.

Website Security

Our booking pages and chat are protected by Google reCAPTCHA to prevent automated abuse. This site is protected by reCAPTCHA and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply. Requests that cannot be verified may be declined; if that happens, please call us at 713-259-2906.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Fitness Repair Xperts or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this website without our prior written consent.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically. Your continued use of our website and services after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.

SMS Terms of Service

By opting in to SMS notifications from Fitness Repair Xperts, you agree to the following:

• Fitness Repair Xperts will send transactional text messages related to your service appointments, including confirmations, reminders, and technician ETA notifications.
• Message frequency varies. Typically 1-5 messages per appointment.
• Message and data rates may apply. Contact your carrier for details.

• Fitness Repair Xperts is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages caused by your carrier.

• Supported carriers include but are not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon.
